After a week of teasing fans, Harry, Liam, Niall, Zayn and Louis gathered at Wembley Stadium to officially announce the Where We Are tour to the press.

The worldwide jaunt will kick off in April in South America, before they return to the UK and Ireland to play five dates including a night at Wembley Arena.

The band are set to announce more dates soon, and have already promised a US leg.
Niall said at the press conference: “We are ecstatic. We have only been a band for three years and we’re already doing stadiums – including Wembley.”

Harry added: “It’s important the fans and everyone who comes to see the show know it’s going to be much bigger and new songs. A completely different tour.”

The name of the new tour sparked speculation it could also be the title of the band’s third album, which is due for release later this year.

In the press conference, Louis confirmed its release and teased a new direction of sound for the band.
“There will be a new album this year. It’s taken a slightly rockier tone,” he said.
“We made it a lot more edgier,” Liam added.

The boyband are currently on the European leg of their Take Me Home world tour, and jetted back to the UK especially announce the news of next year’s stadium gigs.

The 26-city trek kicks off on July 3 in Stockton, Calif., stopping in cities including L.A., New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami before winding down on August 18 in Houston. The R&B quartet will be joined by fellow teen stars The OMG Girlz and Coco Jones.

The tour marks the second headlining tour for Mindless Behavior following 2012’s “#1 Girl” tour. They previously opened for Janet Jackson and Justin Bieber and performed on 2011’s “Scream” tour.

This summer’s tour will feature a longer set, incorporating some of the group’s new material off their sophomore album All Around the World, which was released in March.

BSB member Nick Carter told Ryan Seacrest that all five members are hitting the road for a new tour, titled In A World Like This, which kicks off on Aug. 2 in Chicago. The band will be joined on the road by Jesse McCartney and Jersey Shore‘s DJ Pauly D.

Backing Groban will be an ensemble of world-class musicians featuring bassist Andre Manga, Ruslan Siorta on keyboards, percussionist Pete Korpela, music director/guitarist Tarique Akoni, Dave DiCenso on drums, violinist Christian Habel and trumpeter Daniel Rosenboom. Timberlake announced the new album Sunday by posting a photo on Instagram. It will consist of 10 new songs, and it’ll come out Sept. 30.

A month later, Timberlake will start The 20/20 Experience World Tour. It’s his first tour in six years, and, by the time he’s done in 2013, he’ll have played in four continents.
